Relaxing Bath Cookies
2 cups fine sea salt
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons light oil
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil (yes, you can use the oil from Vitamin E capsules)
2 eggs
6 drops lavender essential oil (or your choice of essential oil)
Makes approximately two dozen small cookies
Mix all ingredients. You can either roll out the dough and cut with decorative cookie cutters or roll the dough into one inch balls. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes until lightly brown. Allow to cool and store in decorative containers.
To Use Bath Cookies: Drop one or two bath cookies into a warm bath.
Caution: Bath cookies are NOT edible and should be clearly labeled for use in the bath only. Keep out of reach of children!

Bath Gel
1/2 cup water
1 packet unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup baby shampoo
Heat the water to boiling and add gelatin to dissolve. Remove from heat and add shampoo very slowly, stirring just enough to combine all ingredients. Pour the bath gel mixture into a clean jar. Set and store in the refrigerator.
To Use Bath Gel: Scoop out a little bath gel as required for your bath.

Scented Shower Gel
1/2 cup unscented baby shampoo
1/4 cup water
3/4 teaspoon salt
Approximately 10 drops essential oil or 15 drops fragrance oil
Gently stir together shampoo, water, salt and your choice of scented oil in a small bowl. Store in a small bottle or pump container. Use in the same way that you would use a commercial shower gel, with a bath puff or washcloth.

Easy Sea Salt Bath Scrub
Combine 1 tablespoon of shower gel and 1 tablespoon natural coarse sea salt. Use as a body scrub to exfoliate and smooth your skin. Avoid use on the face. Rinse off with warm bath water or in the shower.

Relaxing Bath Tea
1/2 cup fresh or 1/4 cup dried lemon balm
1/2 cup fresh or 1/4 cup dried German chamomile flowers
2 cups boiling water
Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the herbs and allow to stand for 20 minutes. Strain out the herbs and add the relaxing herbal tea to the warm water of your bath.
